The Project

The P-114 Medical Center Addition & Alteration project is a 575,000-square-foot healthcare facility with MRI and X-ray rooms, administration space, a cafeteria, and an auditorium. The project team will also renovate two existing medical buildings adjacent to the new Building C.

The project will be completed in phases to allow the hospital to remain fully operational during construction. Phase 1 will begin with site preparation for Building C, including investigative and laser scanning of existing mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems, and construction of temporary barrier walls halfway between the existing structures. Half of the existing structures will then be demolished, and the south half of Building C will be constructed in its place.

Phase 2 will commence once hospital operations occupy the new southern half of Building C. The remaining buildings will be demolished and then the northern half of Building C will be constructed. During Phases 3 and 4, which will occur concurrent to Phase 2, the project team will renovate the two existing medical buildings adjacent to Building C.

As a part of our implementation services, S2N is installing a new Nurse Call system and will be connecting it to the existing Hill-Rom Campus-wide Nurse Call system. S2N is also installing a new Radio and Public Address system for Building C, as well as the buildings to be renovated. S2N will also be providing coordination and quality checks on Structured Cabling, Security, DAS, and Radio Paging.
