S2N provided consulting, design-assist, and implementation services for the North Building addition at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. 

The 300,000-square-foot, five-story addition to Johns Hopkins’ Suburban Hospital campus encompasses 108 private rooms, 14 operating rooms with robotic technology, two interventional cardiovascular labs, and pre- and post-operative areas. The North Building also features physician and administrative offices, a visitor lounge, and a new main entrance. 

S2N’s scope of work included operating room integration and the installation of all technologies including internet protocol television, real time locating systems, synchronized clocks, and electronic security systems such as access control and closed-circuit television.
